Cookie Notice
Last updated: January 28, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Crossfeed Consultancy website, and how you can control them. Under Irish ePrivacy rules, consent is normally required for non-essential cookies, and you must be given clear information about what is being used and why.
1) What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function; others support analytics, performance, and personalisation.
2) How consent works on this site
This site displays a cookie banner by default with three options:
Accept all (allow all cookies)
Manage cookies (choose preferences)
Decline all (decline non-essential cookies)
I have configured Squarespace to restrict non-essential cookies unless you consent.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Preferences pill in the bottom left of the site footer.
3) Cookies and similar technologies used on this site
A) Strictly necessary cookies (always active)
These are required for the website to run and for core features to work (for example security and page navigation). Consent is not required where cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested.
Provider: Squarespace (site platform)
B) Analytics and performance cookies (only if you consent)
These help me understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are visited and how visitors navigate), so I can improve content and usability. Squarespace states it places non-essential analytics and performance cookies to collect information about how visitors interact with a site.
I also use Squarespace Analytics, including activity log data, which records interactions with the site for analytics and operational insight.
Provider: Squarespace
If HubSpot tracking cookies are enabled on this site, HubSpot may also set analytics cookies once you consent to non-essential cookies. HubSpot documents common cookies such as __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, and __hssrc, though the exact set depends on features enabled.
Provider (where used): HubSpot
C) Marketing and CRM-related cookies (only if you consent, where enabled)
If HubSpot marketing features are enabled (for example newsletter sign-up tracking, campaign attribution), HubSpot may use cookies or similar identifiers to support those functions.
Provider (where used): HubSpot
D) Embedded third-party content (Microsoft Bookings)
This site includes an embedded Microsoft Bookings calendar via an iframe. Microsoft indicates Bookings pages can be embedded on a website.
When you interact with embedded content, the third-party provider may set cookies or use similar technologies within that embedded frame. Some browsers restrict third-party cookies, which can affect embedded experiences in certain circumstances.
Provider: Microsoft (Bookings/Teams)
4) How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies in three main ways:
Cookie Preferences pill (recommended): click Cookie Preferences in the bottom left of the site footer to review and change your choices at any time.
Cookie banner: when you first visit the site (or after clearing cookies), use Accept all, Manage cookies, or Decline all.
Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies via your browser. Note that blocking necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
5) Changes to this notice
I may update this Cookie Notice if I change the tools used on the site or how cookies are configured. The latest version will always be published here with the updated date.
